HBO Releases Teaser Trailer for 'Sharp Objects' Miniseries

Amy Adams reluctantly finds herself proving the old adage wrong in the first trailer for HBO's adaptation of Gillian Flynn's "Sharp Objects", which was released ahead of the premiere of "Westworld" season 2.

Born Amy Lou Adams on August 20, 1975 at the USA military base located in Aviano, Italy to American parents Richard and Kathryn Adams as one of their seventh children, the Oscar-nominated American film and television actress was more than an exceptional beauty.

Camille returns to her hometown in Missouri to investigate the murder of a young girl and the disappearance of another. Already had the skill as her main asset, she then performed dinner theater in Colorado following her high school graduation while also was taking the job as a waitress at Hooters for a short time. Jean-Marc Vallée directed the limited series.

The trailer hasn't given much away but it basically shows a a mentally distraught Camille, a pair of seriously creepy twin girls and some other people who also have that shifty look. Her mother is a handful, to say the least. "One of them is risky, and the other one is in danger". A little girl whispers, "It's not safe for you here". Gillian Flynn is behind the famous book Gone Girl that spawned the hugely successful movie of the same starring Ben Affleck and Rosamund Pike.

Sharp Objects is a limited series, and airs this July.

Patricia Clarkson, Chris Messina, Eliza Scanlen, Elizabeth Perkins and Matt Craven co-star.

A year after "Big Little Lies", HBO is offering a first glimpse at their latest attempt at turning a runaway literary success into TV gold. HBO, you are just too good to us.
