The suspect was identified by police as 42-year-old Ariston Nacion who was shot dead by responding policemen who were also attacked by the troubled man.

Land and air ambulance crews treated him and he was taken to hospital in central London but died later in the evening.

A man in his 20s has been arrested on suspicion of murder over the Brixton death.

Dihan was the prime accused in Robin murder case filed with Kotwali Police Station a year ago, police said.

Police and paramedics were called to Chestnut Avenue where they found the 18-year-old suffering from knife wounds at around 10.50pm. "It is believed the victim and the man arrested were known to each other".

Detectives are informing his next of kin.

A woman in her 20s has been arrested in connection with the Colindale attack.

It follows the fatal stabbings of two people in separate domestic incidents in the capital on Sunday.

Police received a report about a disturbance in the crime scene located along Pangilinan street where the two kids were reportedly heard crying.

She was pronounced dead at the scene.

The most recent incident has not yet been classed as a suspected murder.

Post mortem examinations on the bodies of both the victims are expected in "due course", the Met said.
