Overwatch's next PvE mission is a Blackwatch strike in Italy

Speaking to the crowd, Kaplan detailed the event which begins April 10th and will end April 30th.

"The Overwatch League All-Access Pass on Twitch [for the 2018 OWL season] is for our super fans: an evolving VIP badge that you can wear in game and in Twitch chat, and that offers a premium viewing experience and behind-the scenes access".

The story in the Retribution Event will be focused on Blackwatch, where a four-player team will take on Talon. So far, we know from a previous Developer Update that "our favorite Shimada brother" will be getting a new skin in the upcoming Overwatch Archives event. The Overwatch Retribution mission's reveal is likely related to the news story that Blizzard released several days ago, talking about an attack on an Overwatch watchpost in Oslo, in Norway.

Retribution takes place on a brand new map called Realto in Venice. After failing to extract an Italian crime lord, Reaper, McCree, Genji, and Moira will have to escape by battling their way through the Talon-occupied streets of Venice. Of course, Retribution will also include new skins for the Blackwatch crew, as well as the usual collection of emotes, sprays, and miscellanea (there will be 60 new items in all). What moments from the Overwatch archives would you like to see Blizzard tackle in future events?

On April 4, the Overwatch League's 3rd phase kicked off with an exciting start. During the announcement, Kaplan explained that the Archives was Blizzard's way to encapsulate these playable glimpses into Overwatch's past into one cohesive unit. From what we can gather, whatever mission the Blackwatch team went on didn't go exactly as planned.
