HBO Releases New 'Westworld' Trailer, Prepare To Get Goosebumps

The premiere of Westworld season 2 is nearly upon us, and HBO released the first trailer for it Thursday.

Every main character from the first season appears to be returning, including Dolores (Evan Rachel Wood), Teddy (James Marsden), Bernard (Jeffrey Wright), Maeve (Thandie Newton) and The Man in Black (Ed Harris).

We've had teasers and images, but now, to melt your brain, here comes the latest full trailer for Westworld's second season.

Westworld Season 2 premiers April 22 at 9PM on HBO. Check out the trailer below!

"She's something we programmed - she's not real", Lee Sizemore (Simon Quarterman) tells Host Maeve Millay (Newton).

Jeffrey Wright in “Westworld.”

Dolores and the other "hosts" of Westworld are no longer just automatons to be tortured, assaulted, killed and reprogrammed to do it all over again.

The main focus of the trailer, however, is Dolores (Evan Rachel Wood) and her continued search for answers.

A scene of Bernard Lowe (Jeffrey Wright) lying on the sand at a beach shore opens the trailer.

Before the trailer comes to an end, viewers are offered with a glimpse of Samurai World a.k.a. Shogun World. "We're going to pick up in the aftermath a bit, and we're going to see, definitely in the first episode, where Dolores is at with her many selves". We'll see how that goes.

As HBO prepares itself for the end of Game of Thrones, it's apparent that they're putting weight on Westworld to take over as the network's dominant fantasy epic. We then see him walk towards the park's underground entrance before saying "I'm gonna burn this whole thing to the ground". There's also a shot of Robert Ford's (Anthony Hopkins) little boy host lying under a tree, looking very much the worse for wear. Their fight for freedom looks to take them to some of those worlds, and possibly even the places humans actually live their day-to-day lives.
