Who Is Ally Sheedy? Actress Slams James Franco After Golden Globes Win

There's at least one person who definitely won't be congratulating James Franco on his Golden Globes win. Some women spoke out on Twitter about the "hypocrisy" of James wearing all black and a Time's Up pin in solidarity with the movement. Franco's gesture and the Golden Globes' decision to honor him, many pointed out, felt like an insult for a night that was intended as a protest and opportunity to support survivors and victims.

Sheedy added: "Why is a man hosting?"

James Franco stopped Tommy Wiseau from having his moment on stage at the 2018 Golden Globes, which left everyone asking: What epic wisdom was he going to share with the world? "Said too much. Nite love ya #goldenglobes", she tweeted. "Cute #TIMESUP pin James Franco", she wrote in an angry tweet before making her claim against him.

According to Gawker, Franco sent flirtatious messages via Instagram and iMessage to a then-17-year-old Scottish fan who attended his performance in Of Mice and Men on Broadway. At one point during the news cycle, he tweeted, "I HOPE PARENTS KEEP THEIR TEENS AWAY FROM ME".

Frustrated by Franco's hypocritical appearance at the Globes, actresses Violet Paley and Sarah Tither-Kaplan took to Twitter to expose James for the alleged sexual misconduct he inflicted on them. Here's what she had to say.

"James Franco will be at multiple parties tonight and asked dozens of questions by reporters".

Days after the story broke on Gawker, Franco appeared on Live With Kelly and Michael and admitted to trying to arrange a hook-up with the girl, though he didn't explain why he had hit on someone who wasn't of legal age. When James was giving his acceptance speech for playing Tommy Wiseau in The Disaster Artist, Ally was watching and tweeting some serious shade. Tbt to me speaking up for myself and other women on a franco set and immediately getting called a diva, told I was "out of line", and publicly humiliated by the producer.
