Fake Mourinho suffering from amnesia, blasts Conte

Antonio Conte dramatically escalated his remarkable feud with Jose Mourinho, calling the Manchester United manager a "little man" and a "fake" in an extraordinary tirade following Chelsea's goalless draw with Norwich City at Carrow Road on Saturday.

Mourinho intensified the spat following Manchester United's 2-0 win over Derby County on Friday, referring to Conte's ban over match-fixing allegations for which he was later aquitted. It's true I was banned for four months for failure to report.

"He was a little man in the past, he is a little man in the present and he will be in the future". Then I requested a real trial through the court and they declared my innocence.

"I am ready. I don't think he is ready", the Italian added. A little man. You (Mourinho) don't know very well what is the situation.

"You know him very well". Life goes on. I'm not anxious about him. The level is very low. I think he's a little man.

Asked if he is annoyed by Mourinho's comments, Conte replied: 'No, but this is his way, it's not a surprise for me, when you insult or offend another person you're a little man, and I think he's a little man. You are a fake.

"If you want to fight a person, you try to kill the person, and then after two years you try to help this person, because maybe it's good for you, your profile".

It all started earlier this week when Conte suggested that the United manager had forgotten some of his own past behaviour, when it was put to him that Mourinho suggested that he behaved "like a clown" on the touchline.

Manchester United and Chelsea will lock horns in the Premier League on February 25, with the Theatre of Dreams playing host to that long-awaited bout.

After Conte questionably called Mourinho "senile", Mourinho said on Friday: 'The only thing I want to say to Antonio Conte is that, yes, I made my mistakes in the past on the touchline.

"Yes, I will make less but I think I will still make a few".

Jose Mourinho highlighted Conte's suspension for match-fixing.
