That means the drawing on Friday, Dec. 29 will be worth $306 million with a cash option of $191 million. Mega Millions tickets are sold in 43 states plus the District of Columbia and the U.S. Virgin Islands. The winning numbers in Saturday's Powerball drawing were 44-15-1-13-3 and Powerball 25. Players are being given a one in 305,575,350 million chance of winning that prize.

There were 322,157 tickets sold that won at least $4 in the drawing. That was the largest prize won in the state.




The Powerball jackpot is now at $337 million, while the Mega Millions rose to $306 million Wednesday with both games having their most recent jackpot wins in late October. Between Mega Millions and Powerball, there's a combined $643 million bucks up for grabs this week. The odds of picking the correct numbers on five white balls and one yellow ball in the Mega Millions game are one in 259 million. Deadline is 7:08 p.m. that day.
