PUBG adding much-needed replay and killcam features this week

Upon starting PUBG for Xbox One, players will now be prompted for 4.71 GB mandatory update.

The patch has now gone live in the UK.

Frame rate and graphical polish were among the shortcomings players found when PUBG launched in Game Preview a week ago.

This first patch is said to be the "first of many", for the Xbox One.

Playerunknown's Battlegrounds developer PUBG Corp is adding some much needed features to the game this week.

PlayerUnknown's Battlegrounds has just been released on Xbox One last week and even though its performance was far from ideal, it attracted many new lovers to the game. Xbox One, like PS4, automatically records your gameplay in the background and you can choose to save the different clips anytime by hitting the Guide and clicking "Record That". Although it aims to solve some issues with the game, it's likely that there will still be some framerate issues and visual performance problems.

Microsoft is reportedly planning to strike with the developers of PUBG to come up with a new version exclusively for the Xbox One consoles.

Many other fixes and improvements are called out in the patch notes. It seems Microsoft is also fully committed to making the 100-player title one of its main sales drivers a PUBG Xbox One X offer. More than likely though, the patch has already automatically updated if your game is in standby mode.
