And the crowd went wild. Allison Janney is famed for her role as White House press secretary C.J.in hit political drama The West Wing, while the ageless Titanic star, Kate Winslet, continues to win hearts with each performance.

Jake Gyllenhaal and Kate Winslet were honored Sunday at the 2017 Hollywood Film Awards. "Or just stroke you or something", Winslet gushed. Shailene Woodley presented Kate with the award. I mean, we could always kiss, maybe?'

The flick is slated to release on December 1 in the U.S.

The 36-year-old American actor and 42-year-old British actress attended the awards show at The Beverly Hilton hotel in Beverly Hills, Calif.




Janney hopped out of her seat and ran to the stage as a delighted Winslet said: "Oh, it's going to happen!" "This is an exciting moment!"

Among the films that will be highlighted at the HFA ceremony will be "I, Tonya", which will receive the Hollywood Ensemble Award for its cast; the cast of "Mudbound", which will receive the Hollywood Breakout Ensemble Award; "Coco", which will receive the Hollywood Animation Award; and "The Big Sick", receiving the Hollywood Comedy Ensemble Award.

Other guests included Angelina Jolie, Margot Robbie and Carey Mulligan.
