Even so, losing Wall would immobilize the Wizards' high-scoring offense. In an interview with Rachel Nichols of ESPN, prior to tipoff, Bradley Beal and John Wall were sending out shots from the Cavs not wanting to face them in the playoffs a year ago to the Wizards being the best team in the East.

Following Friday's 130-122 loss to the Cleveland Cavaliers, Washington Wizards point guard John Wall's left arm was in a sling as he took questions from the media.

Smith said the Cavs didn't discuss the Wizards' barbs in the locker room before the game, but they clearly resonated to some degree.

Cavaliers: Iman Shumpert (sore right knee) missed his third game in a row, while Tristan Thompson (strained left calf) sat out for the first time in what could be a month's absence after getting injured in Wednesday's loss to Indiana.

Wall played 38 minutes Friday night, shooting 4-for-13 from the field and 5-for-12 from the foul line as he finished with 13 points, 15 rebounds and six assists. In the first quarter alone Rose scored 9 points on 4-for-5 shooting and scored in a variety of ways. Irving scored 22 of his 25 points while Horford added 17 of his 20 points in the last two quarters as the Celts extended the league's longest current winning streak.

When you imagine LeBron playing alongside Wall and Beal, it's not hard to imagine a team like that making it to the NBA Finals on a yearly basis. In the loss to the Cavs, Wall dished out 15 assists, the most in the National Basketball Association on Friday night. "That's what happens certain nights with great players". Even though there are cases of inconsistencies, they tend to bring as much as they can to the floor every night. Tim Hardaway Jr. contributed 21 points in New York's fourth win in five games since an 0-3 start.

This isn't the first game Frazier's struggled either. Hopefully, he can turn things around. John Wall had 13 points and 15 assists as the Wizards shot 53.6 percent from the field. The defense gets worse as well, going from 105.1 to 108.8 when he leaves the court, but something to watch tonight against the very stingy Raptors defense is how the Wizards manage to create offense with Wall out of the lineup completely.
