Theater sets up tipline for Kevin Spacey complaints

A clip of Seth MacFarlane joking about Kevin Spacey on a 2005 episode of Family Guy has resurfaced in the wake of the sexual misconduct allegations against the House of Cards actor.

Issuing a joint statement on Monday October 30, Netflix and Media Rights Capital confirmed that Spacey was not now on the House of Cards set - quietly begging the question of if he will ever return to it. Netflix announced on Monday Season 6 of "House of Cards" would be the show's last.

The series would be penned by Eric Roth, who produced the first four seasons of "House of Cards". Though Netflix and producers Media Rights Capital were leaning towards ending the show a while ago, the key cast and creatives were only alerted earlier in the day in a series of calls.

Spacey has since issued an apology for the encounter, which he says he does not remember, although he has been heavily criticised for combining the apology with an announcement that he's now living "as a gay man". Rapp was 14 at the time while Spacey was 26.

In a statement on its website, The International Academy of Television Arts and Sciences said: "The International Academy has announced today that in light of recent events it will not honour Kevin Spacey with the 2017 International Emmy Founders Award".

"I'm beyond horrified to hear his story", Spacey wrote. In response to the allegations, Willimon said Rapp's story is "deeply troubling".

The star of actor Kevin Spacey is pictured on the Hollywood Walk of Fame in Los Angeles, California.

The two-time Oscar victor later took to Twitter to respond to the allegations.

MasterClass declined to disclose how many people had enrolled in Spacey's class (and the startup hasn't released other subscriber numbers previously).

"That said, I take reports of such behaviour seriously and this is no exception".

But that doesn't mean the House of Cards universe is done for good. "I feel for Mr. Rapp and I support his courage".
