In addition to Android TV and the Xbox One, the YouTube TV app will also make its way to other smart TVs, such as LG, Samsung and Sony in the coming weeks. Last week, the company aired a two-minute ad spot that featured live footage of its service before the first pitch of Game 1 of the World Series, and has scheduled to run at least two 30-second ads along with six-second ads throughout each game of the series. In addition to that, the Xbox One family of devices (Xbox One, Xbox One S, and beginning in November, the Xbox One X) from Microsoft is getting a YouTube TV app. There are now a variety of ways to watch TV right on your mobile devices.

More than just a port of the mobile app, the app that will be available on Android TV, Xbox One, Apple TV and more devices has been modified to better suit the television.

Google is also aggressively promoting its new TV streaming service. For example, both display rows of the channels.

However, the YouTube TV app for TV devices introduces a dark background instead of white for a more cinematic look, and includes a new Live guide so you can see what will be airing soon.

It was hardly expected that YouTube would release an app that would connect to the TV screen at the moment.

And of course, you can pick up where you left off when switching between watching on your TV and your other devices, as with other streaming services. YouTube TV is really pushing its service as an option for streaming live sports, as the service offers ESPN as well as regional and broadcast networks' live sporting events.
