Alicia Keys Returning To Coach NBC's 'The Voice' Next Season

Alicia Keys Returning To Coach NBC's 'The Voice' Next Season

As stoked as we are about the roster for The Voice season 14, there are a few other things that need to be considered with this show at this point in its run. We've been excited for Kelly for quite some time (she has great candor and a ideal personality for this show - plus a longtime friendship with Blake) and Alicia showed long before ever appearing on this show that she was credible and was going to be able to help contestants. Only when she opened the door, Clarkson found Shelton standing there and then Levine before finally revealing Keys, who said she's back to defend her crown. Keys joined The Voice in season 11 and continued into season 12, in which her artist Chris Blue won, and she will be returning for at least one more year.

The Voice just revealed its fourth coach for next season, and you're already quite familiar with her.

Unfortunately, this means the "Hollaback" coaches will not be a thing on the next season of "The Voice". She brings unparalleled expertise and has proven she knows how to help artists win.

Keys burst onto the music scene in 2001 with her debut album, Songs in A Minor, which introduced her first hit single, "Fallen", to the world. The fourteenth season of The Voice with Clarkson and Keys will arrive in spring 2018.

Will Gwen Stefani return, too?

While waiting for the premiere of "The Voice" Season 14, Clarkson is now busy with her new album "Meaning of Life". The current panel of coaches includes Levine, Shelton, Miley Cyrus and Jennifer Hudson. She announced last month that her latest album will be released on October 27.
