Star Wars: The Last Jedi Tickets Will Go On Sale Today

"I a [sic] legitimately torn".

Tomorrow morning, fans will be able to book tickets for The Last Jedi's opening day in South Africa.

The latest clip of the much-anticipated Star Wars sequel will debut tonight (Oct. 9) on Monday Night Football, which airs on ESPN at 8:30 pm ET. That is what happened when tickets for "The Force Awakens" went on sale. And why does the director not want you to watch it?

The new installment of the Star Wars saga will reveal a little more that night with a new trailer.

Movie trailers in recent years have taken to spoiling more of their films than before - largely due to studies showing audiences are more likely to go the more they know.

Well, the folks at Disney and Lucasfilm have already treated us to a glimpse of the new trailer itself - releasing a number of small teasers via social media.

Star Wars: The Last Jedi director Rian Johnson has warned fans to avoid the latest trailer if they want to keep away from spoilers. The trailer will arrive during halftime of ESPN's Monday Night Football broadcast.

A message from Star Wars' UK Twitter feed confirmed that the new trailer would be revealed in the early hours of Tuesday 10th October UK time.

Fans can add exclusive the Last Jedi collectibles to their Alamo Drafthouse ticket purchase, including a commemorative all-Star Wars issue of Birth.Movies.Death, and three Mondo-designed glasses.

Carrie Fisher will appear as Leia Organa in the film, her last performance before her unexpected death last December. It could be dialogue between characters that will explain more about what the film's plot actually is, or it could just be a couple of shots of aliens or spaceships that we've never seen before.

"Star Wars: The Last Jedi" comes out in theaters on December 15 with early showings on December 14.
