Super Mario Run Update Will Add Daisy, New World, New Mode

Nintendo of Europe tweeted recently that on September 29, Super Mario Run is not only getting a price cut to $4.99, but it's also getting a bunch of new content as well.

As part of the update, Super Mario Run will get a new mode named Remix 10. While you patiently wait for next week's update, head over to our Super Mario Run wiki guide for loads of tips, tricks and a detailed walkthrough. Finishing stages in Remix 10 will also provide the player with the opportunity to rescue Princess Daisy, who will later join the game as a playable character. The levels still contain the various coin challenges with new enemies and "cool gameplay mechanics".

To promote the new update, Nintendo is temporarily dropping the price of Super Mario Run by 50 percent.

The stages are remixed with each attempt, and with rainbow-colored bonus medals strewn across these bite-sized stages, it's a fresh challenge every time.
Nine new levels will be available once you have completed the game's existing stages across the first six worlds.

The new mode, officially called Remix 10, has players running 10 second levels in groups of 10.

Nintendo is set to release a major update on 29 September that brings a number of key additions to the table reports Engadget.

The character in question is Daisy, which puts her as the seventh playable character in the roster, and the new world is called World Star.

As for Princess Daisy being a playable character in "Super Mario Run", players will first have to use Mario to rescue the former in her castle. You can also listen to your own music now while playing the game, which will add tiny headphones onto your characters while you're doing that.

Recently, Nintendo announced that Mario is no longer considered a plumber, noting in an updated profile of the character that he worked as a plumber "a long time ago".
