Google Store brings back to school discounts on Google Pixel, Home, WiFi

In a market where other smartphone rivals were about to catch the consumers' attention, the Pixel 2 would have stood a chance with some better specs and features, or even a better design. Google ventured into making smartphones after releasing some of the finest masterpieces in association with LG. The purported image of the upcoming Google Pixel 2 smartphone has leaked by a popular leakster on Twitter. As 9to5Google reports, the search giant has given the phone a heavy discount in the Google Store.

Google's design choice for the regular Pixel is particularly interesting given that the Pixel XL successor is expected to feature minimal bezels and a large 2:1 OLED screen with rounded corners. GSM Arena posted some live photos earlier today showing what may be the flagship device, sent to them by an anonymous "tipster". You can see a number of stickers on the back panel. The Pixel 2 will also keep HTC as its manufacturer. The in-hand feel was far superior to the original Pixel. Just like Apple and HTC, Google has made plans to ditch the 3.5mm jack, offering instead an USB Type-C port for all purposes. The rumor mill expects the new Pixel phones to offer 4GB RAM and 64GB of internal storage. This could mean the Pixel 2 will have front-firing stereo speakers, which would make for a richer multimedia experience. The Google Store has announced the sale and has slashed the Google Pixel by $125 price to $524. It's flat $200 off its regular price of $769.

Those who purchase any variant of Pixel and Pixel XL can also avail Daydream View headset free of cost. The Pixel XL too gets a price cut and is now retailing at $569.
