Here's all we know about the Destiny 2 beta

Players will have access to the subclasses during this Open beta, including the Dawnblade for Warlocks, Arcstrider for Hunters and Sentinel for Titans. The beta will include the Opening Campaign Mission, a Co-op Strike and a new PvP Mode, Countdown. According to Bungie, the PC beta will be made available sometime during August. You'll also get to have a good look at the title's newest multiplayer mode, Countdown.

According to newly revealed info, the Farm can hold nearly 26 players at a time.

And finally, Destiny 2's beta will feature the new social space, The Farm, for only one hour on July 23.

The studio, though, promised that Control will arrive at the beta phase with "some impactful changes".

The creators of Destiny, Bungie (who used to develop Halo) and Activision are releasing the official beta which you can play on PS4 and other consoles.

While this is all the content the beta will offer, it will have matchmaking, so you can hunt up other players to take on challenges with you. Progress can not be carried over the full game, but all those accessing the beta will still get something for their efforts, an exlusive emblem.

The beta is set to kick off in just under two weeks on July 18 on PlayStation 4 for those who pre-order.

Destiny 2 will be released worldwide for PlayStation 4 and Xbox One on September 6, 2017, with the PC version set to be released on October 24, 2017.

Moreover, there will be no Clan support or character progression in the Destiny 2 console Beta, meaning your progress won't carry over to the full game.
