Sanders: 'Thousands of People Will Die' on GOP Health Care

"Unfair to Bernie!" President Trump tweeted, seemingly defending the senator just weeks after calling him "Crazy Bernie Sanders". Toensing alleges that Jane Sanders falsely inflated the ability of donors to pay back the loan which would purchase 33 acres of land to expand Burlington College. Toensing looked at the school's loan documents and allegedly saw that Jane Sanders had convinced a bank that the college-which had an annual budget of $4 million-could repay the sum.

The feds are looking into whether Ms. Sanders, as president of the now-defunct Burlington College, committed fraud when getting a bank loan.

Politico first reported Thursday that Sanders has retained a lawyer amidst the news that the FBI was investigating the bank fraud case.

Two former Burlington College trustees said they were also contacted by attorneys representing Sanders, wife of U.S. Sen.

When Donald Trump kicked off his campaign for president back in June 2015, the initial reaction from the majority of the American people and the mainstream media was that his candidacy was not to be taken seriously.

Toensing told CBS that the investigation was started during the Obama administration.

The attack is a belated, served-cold revenge for the probe of Clinton's use of a private email server that dragged through her presidential campaign and resurfaced in its final week, likely costing her a victory in the electoral college, even as no charges were brought. The letter alleged that to secure a $10 million loan and execute her grand plan to expand the college, Jane Sanders had falsified and inflated almost $2 million that she'd claimed donors had pledged to repay the loans.

Brady Toensing of Burlington is responsible for launching the complaint to the USA attorney for Vermont. "Sanders said." Let me leave it at that, because it would be improper at this point for me to say anything more".

Reports at the time showed DNC officials impatient with Sanders for not ending his campaign, which political analysts said harmed Clinton.

However, Sanders's top adviser Jeff Weaver alleges the claims against the senator are politically-motivated, baseless, and false.
